October Hymn of the Month:

Our October hymn of the month is the theme of our 2008-9 year at St. John's: "Listen, God is Calling!" The Tanzanian hymn, which uses the African traditional call and response style of singing, invites us first to "LISTEN!  Listen for the invitation, the forgiveness, the comfort and the joy found in God's word. The verses incorporate a call to action. A call to share the good news to the entire world.
