Saint Paul Area Synodical Women’s Convention Bind us Together

    You are invited to join women from around the Saint Paul Area Synod for a weekend of worship, Eucharist, Bible study, learning sessions, and business meetings. Bishop Rogness will start us off with a Bible Study. The Friday night banquet will feature Catherine Malotky. Catherine writes the last page article every month in Lutheran Woman Today and always has an inspiring message. Brenda Meier from Lutheran World Relief in Baltimore will be with us all weekend and will bring us words from Lutheran World Relief at our Saturday lunch as well as at a workshop. Much, much more is in store for the weekend be sure to join us.

    We will hear about Palestine and the new anti¬racism coordinators for our Synodical Women's Organization will bring us new and updated information with "Tcday's Dream, Tomorrow's Reality". In addition, we will be able to meditate in the St. John's Bible meditation room. And, we will be able to assist Lutheran World Relief with both our monetary offerings and our Health Kits - much needed resources with the recent destruction in Haiti.

    Come and hear illuminating speakers who will teach, encourage and challenge us to come to a great understanding of our faith. There will be displays by various ministries and shopping at Augsburg.

    The Women’s Ministry Committee is sponsoring a second Walk-a-Round, ESP (Emotional Spiritual Physical) Well-Being. We support the Women of the ELCA and their resolution of raising healthy women and girls. We offer thanks for the addition of our walking path to St. John’s acres and to all those who helped to make it a reality!
