Greetings and Welcome to St. John's Lutheran Church!

We have been in Lakeville since 1914, and have now built a new facility on the north side of 202nd Street across from Aronson Park. You are invited to come and worship with us! Worship at St. John's Church comes alive in the classic, historic tradition of the Lutheran church. In this tradition worship is understood to be an appointment with God. We come into God's presence to hear his word and to share in his supper. God is present in our worship to forgive our sins and strengthen us in faith.

It is the mission of St. John's Church to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to reach out in his love to all people.

Participants in the ministry of St. John's Church are united in the love of God as we know it through Christ Jesus and are called to service in the world.

St. John's Church serves the greater Lakeville area through a membership of 1,500 baptized believers in Christ.

  • Get ready for St. John's first annual garage sale! Please help make this a big success by bringing your donated items to church the week of July 27; during the hours of 9:00 am to noon and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm there will be people available to assist you in unloading your car and placing your donated items in the correct area. Click here for a  complete list of suggested donations. It takes a large group of people to run a garage sale as great as the one that is scheduled for August 12-15 at St. John's Lutheran Church. We need your help to set-up, to take a shift or two to work during the garage sale; we also need people to bring goodies to keep our volunteers energized and last but not least we need a clean-up crew. Please sign up for what you are able to do by clicking here. All your time is truly appreciated.
